Maxspect release a new range of R420r (Razor) LED lighting units. These latest generation of R420r light units will be avaialbe with a 15,000k colour temperature on full power and have around 10% more power than the older model each unit comes with 120 degree optics as standard, customers with deeper aquariums will have the option of purchasing 90 degree optics should they be required. The new units contain 6 extra LEDs per tile as can be seen on the spec sheet below.

Please see below the colour temperature for the 15,000k units over the two channels and an example of the par reading for the 180w and 320w models replacing the 160w and

300w respectively.

Retail pricing will be in line with older models 320w units are available now with the 70w nano and 180w units arriving in the UK around the end of Feb 2015.

Existing razor customers can retrofit the new 15,000k LED pad into their existing unit as an optional upgrade to bring their unit inline with the performance of this new model.
